We are recruiting a versatile and confident Primary Cover Teacher for a long‑term role in a well‑established, community‑focused primary school in the HA2 area. The school is known for its supportive leadership, excellent behaviour culture and strong sense of teamwork. Staff are valued, routines are well embedded, and pupils respond well to consistency and high expectations.
About the Role
This is a full‑time, long‑term position where you will be the school's dedicated cover teacher, delivering fully planned lessons across Nursery to Year 6. All planning is completed in advance by the Assistant Headteacher, allowing you to focus on high‑quality delivery and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Covering PPA, leadership release and staff absences
- Delivering pre‑planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations
- Adapting quickly to different classes and year groups
- Providing consistency and reliability for pupils and staff
This role requires someone who is adaptable, confident across all primary phases, and able to think on their feet.

- Comfortable working across all year groups
- QTS desirable but not essential - experienced cover supervisors and instructors welcome
