Computing and Digital at South Staffordshire College are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled teacher to support our Computing and Digital provision, working within our Computing team which has seen significant growth and investment by the college.

Candidates need to support our high expectations in motivating our learners, developing their craft, requiring a high level of technical competence and up-to-date knowledge of practical Computing practices, and in supporting learners in their progression towards career in Computing.

The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of working in creative environment, and a proactive approach towards maintaining and developing new skills to support the rapidly evolving technologies and software used in the games industry.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to help play a vital role in further building our provision which is growing from strength to strength, and in supporting the regions aspirations as a digital and creative county.

The successful applicant will have a degree in a Games, Computing or Computer Science related field, a full teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE) or looking to work towards such, together with experience of teaching. They should also be confident in their use of a range of software which may include the Adobe suite, the Autodesk suite, Unreal Engine or Unity and/or programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python or C#.

As we look toward our future provision, we are also keen to speak to people with experience and qualification in AI, Cyber Security, Networking and Infrastructure.
