Self-employed PA-Night Carer

About me I am a young man and I have a neurological condition called Friedreich’s Ataxia. It means that I am wheelchair bound and struggle with everyday activities such as washing, dressing, preparing meals and going to the toilet. I also have limited vocal ability however I am able to communicate and conversate well. I have full cognitive function.

Hours and rate of pay Sleeping shift from Friday to Sunday night
Rate of Pay: £115 per shift.





Location Great Baddow, Chelmsford
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed.
What you would be doing… This is a sleeping night position where you will be on hand to provide reassurance and support if required during the night. Most of the shift will be spent sleeping with occasional assistance needed.
You will need to be able to:
• Provide a reassuring presence overnight
• Support with any needs that may arise during the night
• Assist with personal care if required
• Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment



The person I would like… I’m looking for a reliable and compassionate night carer to support me in my own home during sleeping night shifts.

A caring, patient and dependable person, with previous care experience preferred.

Someone who is able to stay calm and responsive if support is needed during the night.

Good communication skills.
