Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a 12 month fixed term contract for a Band 5 Registered Nurse within the Community Planned Care Business Unit based at Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital Outpatient Department, cross site cover as and when needed to our sister Hospital of Samuel Johnson Hospital .
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can work within a team and individually. To support a range of clinical specialities, contribute to the delivery of an effective and responsive outpatient service.
Due to potential cross site working in this role being a car driver/owner is desirable for this role.
Experience of working within an outpatient setting would be desirable.
We are a general Outpatient's department and support and deliver a wide set of speciality clinics. Applicants must have evidence of updated personal development, excellent interpersonal skills, be flexible, have an ability to work under pressure, to have the ability to prioritise your workload and a strong desire to work in an Outpatient setting.
Previous outpatient experience would be desirable but not essential.
Outpatients services positively support the learning and development of their staff.
A teaching or preceptorship qualification would be beneficial.
Please note that hours don't form set shift patterns and will be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service and may include some evening and weekend work.
