Summary
Rate of pay is £14.82 per hour, pay rise pending.
The post is for six hours per week consisting of two three-hour shifts on Tuesday and Sunday. Employer can be flexible with shift times.
Disabled woman living in Sighthill area of Edinburgh looking for a female personal assistant (PA) to carry out social and personal care tasks plus some domestic tasks.
Duties will include moving and assisting, PEG feeding and catheter care. Experience in care would be useful but being an enthusiastic learner is more important as full training can be given on all aspects of the job.
You must be dog friendly. You will be given the opportunity to learn British Sign language (BSL) as the lady is hard of hearing. You must be a member of the protecting vulnerable groups (PVG) scheme or willing to join.
