Chef Manager
Salary: Up to £36,100 per annum
Contract: Full Time | Monday to Friday
We’re seeking an experienced Chef Manager who brings together culinary flair, operational leadership, and commercial awareness. This role goes beyond the kitchen, it’s for someone who enjoys taking ownership of a diverse catering operation and is confident balancing food quality, people leadership, and client engagement.
This is a high‑profile role overseeing a diverse, street food bistro offer. You’ll take responsibility for ensuring the outlet runs efficiently while maintaining consistently high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the end‑to‑end catering operation, covering kitchen, service, and commercial performance
- Lead, coach, and develop your team to deliver a consistently high standard of food and service
- Control food costs, labour, margins, and waste to meet financial targets
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients and customers, responding to their needs and adding value
- Ensure all food safety, health & safety, and company policies are fully adhered to
- Maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency across all services
- Manage staffing structures, recruitment, training, and succession planning
About You
- Demonstrable experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef with responsibility for a full operation
- A genuine passion for fresh food, quality ingredients, and well‑executed service
- Confident leadership style with the ability to motivate and engage teams
- Strong ownership mindset with experience managing client relationships
- Solid commercial understanding, including P&L management, cost control, and KPIs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example
