Key responsibilities include greeting clients, preparing them for services, washing and conditioning hair, and assisting stylists during treatments such as colouring, cutting, and styling. Salon assistants are also responsible for keeping workstations clean and sanitised, managing towels and tools, restocking products, and maintaining overall salon hygiene.
In addition to technical support, the role involves handling basic reception duties such as booking appointments, answering phone calls, and processing payments. Strong communication skills, a friendly attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
