Summary
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle MET Technician to join a reputable accident repair centre based in Swansea. The Vehicle MET Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality vehicle repairs, working efficiently within a team to meet industry standards and customer expectations.

- Starting salary up to £18 per hour, dependent on experience and current earnings
- Overtime at time and a half rate, subject to availability

Duties:
- As a Vehicle MET Technician, accurately remove and replace mechanical, electrical, and trim components on vehicles
- Diagnose and identify hidden damage after stripping vehicles, assisting with parts and labour estimates
- Ensure all repairs adhere to safety standards and are completed efficiently to manufacturer protocols
- Carry out duties outlined on job cards, prioritising workload to meet deadlines
- Support colleagues during busy periods through effective multi-tasking
- Maintain a safe working environment and support team operations as a Vehicle MET Technician
Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in automotive MET or vehicle body repair is preferred; candidates working toward an IMI qualification will also be considered
- Extensive experience in vehicle body repair or strip and fit work is highly regarded
- Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines
- Strong team player with the initiative to work independently as necessary
- A full UK driving licence with minimal points is essential for the role of Vehicle MET Technician
