About the Role
Our client, a well‑established company, is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join their manufacturing team. The role involves interpreting drawings and templates, marking out, cutting, and sewing heavy fabrics—including PVC and canvas—to produce covers, panels, and sheets.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings and templates
- Mark, cut, and sew heavy fabrics
- Operate industrial sewing machinery
- Conduct quality checks on finished products
- Undertake additional duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Recent, relevant experience using industrial sewing machines
- Experience working with heavy fabrics
- Ability to follow simple drawings and templates
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work well within a small team
