Summary

Job Title: Care Home Manager
Reports To: Operations Manager
Location: Norwich, Norfolk

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Care Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home. This is a leadership role requiring a compassionate, driven individual who can ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining strong operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strong leadership and direction to the care home team, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and respect.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CQC standards, and strive toward achieving Outstanding ratings.
- Oversee the financial performance of the home, managing budgets effectively to meet targets.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to maintain full occupancy and promote services.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure high standards of care, safety, and wellbeing for all residents.

Skills and Experience

- Proven experience managing a nursing or residential care home.
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a track record of achieving high ratings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commercial awareness and ability to manage a successful care home operation.
- Passion for delivering person-centred care and driving continuous improvement.
- Ability to contribute to the growth and development of care services.

Qualifications

- NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential).
