Salary: £23 - £27k per Annum
Location: Teaching Assistant SEMH
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Start time 8.15am -3:30pm
Join our dynamic team in Crawley as a SEMH Teaching Assistant. Your role will involve supporting classroom activities, helping students with special educational needs, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver clear feedback on behaviour, attitudes, and peer interactions.

Maintain positive behaviour and focus, adjusting strategies when challenges arise.

Create a supportive and safe learning environment through strong pupil relationships.

Promote independence and uphold high behavioural expectations.

Support lesson delivery by implementing and adapting planned activities.

Reinforce teaching concepts and ensure resources are prepared.

Contribute to a well-rounded curriculum that supports pupil achievement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A patient, caring and positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable
