Summary

Shifts 8am-2pm or 4pm to 10pm.Interview Date: To be confirmedJob Summary:The Salvation Army in Dundee provides support for people who are experiencing homelessness and have multiple and complex needs. Our role is to provide a safe psychologically informed environment to stay and support individuals through a Harm Reduction approach, based on trauma informed practice,Key Responsibilities:The role of an Assistant Support Worker is an inspirational one and key to achieving successful outcomes for clients. Motivated and dynamic you will be responsible for assisting with delivering a high-quality programme of support which promotes client choice and control.Successful candidate will have: Good customer services skills.The ability to prioritise their own workload.Proficiency in a range of IT packages including Microsoft.Knowledge of the main support needs which are commonly faced by homeless and vulnerable clients.It is important to apply for registration as soon as possible and within three months of starting your role.
