Eastern Education Group is entering a pivotal phase in how it designs and deploys AI across learning, operations and immersive technologies. We are seeking a Group AI Learning Solutions Engineer to play a leading hands-on role in building, integrating and deploying the Group’s AI-enabled learning and automation solutions.

This is a practical, delivery-focused engineering role. You will work across XR engineers, cloud AI specialists, web developers, data and IT teams to connect the components required to create coherent, secure and scalable AI-powered user experiences. Your focus will be translating ambition into working systems rapidly prototyping, integrating and iterating solutions that deliver measurable impact for learners and staff.

A core expectation of the role is to use AI to accelerate the delivery of AI itself, prioritising thin-slice MVPs, early proof points and tangible outcomes. Early delivery of AI-scaffolded personalised learning (starting with Maths) will be a key success measure.

You will contribute to the design and optimisation of the Group’s hybrid AI ecosystem, including LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, orchestration patterns and reusable APIs. Working closely with colleagues across IT, Digital Transformation, XR, MIS and curriculum teams, you will ensure solutions are secure, auditable and aligned with Responsible AI principles, GDPR, safeguarding requirements, funding rules and Cyber Essentials Plus.

This role is ideal for an AI engineer or technically strong developer who enjoys building and deploying real-world systems and wants to expand their remit into solution design and cross-team integration. Experience in education, regulated environments, personalised learning systems or immersive technologies is desirable, but above all we are looking for someone who can build, integrate and ship AI solutions that make a meaningful difference.
