Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Willand School requires a Clerk to Governors following the successful promotion of our current one.

This role is for 251 hours spread over the year, the hours per week will vary depending on our meeting schedule but there will be about 1 to 2 hours a week as a guide.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing agendas in consultation with the Chair of Governors and Headteacher,

Taking and writing up the minutes and distributing documentation and other information to Governors.

Effectively managing information and administering meetings.

Providing advice to the governing body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.

Ensuring the governing body is correctly constituted.

We require a highly organised person with attention to detail.

You will have general administration experience such as minute taking and meeting organisation and be able to demonstrate a good communication to all stakeholders.

The majority of this role will be working from home
