We are seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking Training & Development Lead to join Eastern Education Group. In this pivotal role, you will lead the evolution of our Learning Management System and help shape a modern, high-performing learning culture across our Group. Working closely with HR, Quality, Curriculum Leads, IT Services and colleagues across all departments, you will drive the continuous development of our Development Zone, ensuring it is accessible, engaging, compliant and aligned with organisational priorities.

You will create and deliver innovative digital and face-to-face training that enhances staff capability and drives organisational improvement. From designing high-quality eLearning modules and blended learning resources to delivering engaging sessions across our Suffolk and Norfolk sites, you will ensure learning is impactful, inclusive and rooted in strong adult learning principles. You will also support our internal leadership programme, provide coaching and guidance to colleagues involved in training delivery, and collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex topics into practical, accessible learning experiences.

Using insight, collaboration and creativity to increase engagement, ensure compliance, and strengthen professional development across the Group, you will monitor performance, evaluate impact, and use learning data to inform continuous improvement. You will lead engagement campaigns, support staff and managers to navigate training requirements, and maintain accurate records to underpin workforce planning and organisational development. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and innovative professional who is passionate about developing people and embedding a culture of continuous learning across adynamic and evolving group.

A key focus of this role will be the development of structured, role specific job family training pathways, ensuring staff have access to clear, relevant and progressive learning aligned to their role, career stage and organisational priorities.The postholder will also playa central role in the design, development and delivery of the Group’s internal management and leadership programmes, including our Licence to Lead offer, supporting current and aspiring managers to build confidence, capability and consistency in leadership practice across the Group.
