Summary
Due to expanding long-term contracts, ACES Ltd are looking to recruit a Service Trainee Engineer to join our team to carry out repairs on domestic & commercial appliances, installations and deliveries, assisting electricians with day to day tasks including electrical works, moving materials and equipment and other general labour tasks.
A Service Trainee Engineer (Appliances) assists in installing, maintaining and repairing household or commercial appliances while learning technical skills under supervision. This role is designed to build hand-on experience in appliance servicing and customer support.
- Assist in installation of appliances.
- Ensure proper setup according to company safety standards.
- Diagnose basic faults in appliances.
- Support senior engineers in repairing electrical/mechanicial issues.
- Perform routine servicing and preventative mantenance.
- Learn trouble shooting techniques.
- Use tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain service records and reports.
- Communicate with customers during service vists and via telephone.
- Maintain professional behaviour at customer locations.
- Effective time management to handle multiple service requests efficiently and meet customer expectations.
