Summary
The Best Connection are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable Assembly Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence in the Kirkby-in-Ashfield area. This is a varied role involving warehouse duties, driving the FLT, and assembly work within a busy manufacturing environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- General picking and packing of orders
- Heavy lifting as required
- Assembly work, including the use of air tools and power tools
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Supporting wider warehouse and production teams as needed
Working Hours & Pay Rate:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Pay rate: £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.71 per hour in April
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred, especially in roles requiring attention to detail and manual handling.
