Information for the role of Summer Domestic AssistantSalary £12.90 per hourFixed-term, part-time position20 or 25 hours per week An opportunity to support our friendly Housekeeping team in carrying out cleaning duties to a high standard across College premises, including communal areas and guest rooms, during our busy conference period. The ideal candidates will be used to working to high cleaning standards, are reliable and flexible, take pride in their work, and enjoy working as part of a team. Although experience of cleaning would be preferred, it is not essential as full training will be provided. Details of the role The Housekeeping team are looking for enthusiastic individuals with exceptional customer service and communication skills to join their team. The rate of pay for this role is £12.90 per hour (Step 26 on the College Salary Scale). This role offers either 20 or 25 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, with additional Saturday shifts every other week in July and August (paid as overtime). The working hours are from 9.00am to 1.30pm, or 9.00am to 2.30pm, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The assignment would start from late May until 5 October 2026, with the possibility of working a portion of this period. Please specify your availability in your application. Training will commence in early June or July so availability from this time is essential.
