Summary

Main Purpose of Job

The Contract Administrator will provide cross-package commercial coordination and day-to-day support across
the offshore windfarm project.
The role acts as a central link between the Principal Commercial Manager and the wider package commercial
teams, ensuring alignment on contractual, procurement, legal, reporting, insurance-related and other activities.
The position supports package Lead Commercial Managers, provides cover during periods of absence, and
contributes to the overall commercial performance and delivery of the project.
This role offers significant development opportunities, with a clear pathway toward a future Lead Commercial
Manager position.

Key Tasks

Commercial & Contractual Support - Support Lead Commercial Managers across all project packages with contract administration, variations,
payments, claims management, and commercial correspondence. - Prepare commercial documents, drafting notes, presentations, and analyses for internal and external
stakeholders. - Assist with procurement and tendering activities, including documentation, evaluations, clarifications, and
workflow coordination. - Coordinate reviews of contractual deliverables, insurance obligations, securities, guarantees, and other
commercial compliance items.
Reporting & Governance - Own regular commercial reporting cycles: progress, risks, budgets, KPIs, and cross-package commercial
dashboards. - Provide ad-hoc reports, summaries, or presentations required by senior management. - Maintain alignment and communication between the Principal Commercial Manager and the wider
commercial team.
Cross-Package Coordination - Facilitate consistent processes, templates, controls, and standards across all packages. - Ensure commercial issues raised by package teams are escalated, tracked, and resolved. - Interface with legal, finance, engineering, project controls, and insurance teams on commercial matters.
Operational & Team Support - Provide cover for package commercial leads during leave or peak workload periods. - Support meetings, workshops, audits, and negotiations where required. - Coordinate lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of commercial practices.
Other Responsibilities - Travel to suppliers, project offices, manufacturing facilities, and offshore/on-site locations as needed. - Adapt to evolving project needs and undertake additional tasks aligned with professional development.
