A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Maintenance Engineer to join an excellent new processing facility in the Avonmouth area.

With no day ever being the same the Maintenance Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class processing environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot PLC systems and interpret technical diagrams.
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and component replacements.
  • Use CAD for design and mechanical analysis.
  • Plan maintenance schedules and coordinate assemblies.
  • Ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain logs, reports, and confidentiality of company data.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Mechanical and PLC fault diagnosis (Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
  • Welding, fabrication, and technical diagram interpretation
  • CAD drafting and mechanical calculations
  • Problem-solving, teamwork, and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations
