Summary

Hours: 37.5 - Monday to Friday, working a double day shift (Morning & Afternoon or day shift) with flexibility to work additional hours as/when required (at short notice).

We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative at CCL Label Ltd, Castleford.
The Person
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic & be a team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Taking responsibility for you & your colleagues health & safety, you will have excellent communication skills & an eye for detail.
The Role
Summary:
Working as part of a team, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring incoming and outgoing deliveries are received, packed and dispatched within required tolerances.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Picking, packing and locating incoming and outgoing deliveries.
2. Loading incoming and outgoing deliveries ensuring that all relevant paperwork is available and fit for use.
3. Organisation of the Warehouse function on a day-to-day basis.
4. Arrange transportation.
5. Receipting and locating finished goods into stock.
6. Cycle counting and stock take of raw material and finished goods as and when required.
7. Completing daily FLT and 5s vehicle inspection checklists and reporting any issues via the correct channels.
8. Maintaining high levels of cleanliness in the Warehouse and throughout the site.
9. Processing customer orders.
10. Assisting Customer Service team and other departments when required.
11. Adhering to strict health & safety regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 12 months previous warehouse experience.
Full Clean Driving Licence (is essential) and ability to drive an LWB Transit Van between CCL sites.
Experience using a PC would be preferred but not essential as training can be given.
Attention to detail.
Being able to work efficiently and sometimes under conflicting time constraints.
Excellent team skills, communication, and organisational skills.
Fast learner
Ability to work on their own initiative, with excellent problem-solving skills.
This role requires the candidate to have licenses to operate the following; Pivot Steer Truck, Order Picker (High Level), and Pedestrian Pallet Truck. If you have valid licenses, this would be preferred but training can be given to the right candidate.
