Be the first point of contact making a real difference.

Vision Support is a long-established charity supporting people living with sight loss across North East Wales, Cheshire and Halton. As we approach our 150th anniversary, we’re entering an exciting period of growth — and we’re looking for a compassionate and organised Triage Coordinator to join our team.

About the role
You’ll be the first point of contact for people accessing our services — listening, understanding their needs and ensuring they are connected to the right support at the right time.

From handling enquiries and referrals to signposting and coordinating next steps, you’ll play a key role in delivering a welcoming, responsive and person-centred service.

You’ll also support our internal processes, including maintaining accurate records and assisting with key Health & Safety monitoring.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who can:

* Build rapport quickly and put people at ease
* Communicate with empathy, patience and professionalism
* Handle sensitive conversations with confidence
* Stay organised and manage multiple enquiries effectively
* Record information accurately and work with systems/databases

Experience in a similar role or working with vulnerable individuals is helpful, but just as important is your ability to connect with people and provide a supportive first impression.

Why join us?

* Flexible working options
* 26 days annual leave + bank holidays (rising to 32 days)
* Pension scheme
* Employee Assistance Programme (24/7 support)
* Training and development opportunities
* A supportive team and a chance to make a real difference

Apply now and help us ensure that every person who contacts Vision Support feels heard, supported and empowered.

We reserve the right to close this advert early if a suitable candidate is found.
