Summary

We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Commercial Account Manager to strategically manage and expand a portfolio of existing clients while proactively acquiring new business within the energy sector.

This role combines account management excellence with proactive business development, ensuring high levels of customer retention while identifying and securing new revenue opportunities.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering tailored energy solutions while contributing directly to company growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

Manage and develop a portfolio of existing energy customers.

Build strong, long-term client relationships through regular engagement.

Conduct account reviews to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Ensure contract renewals are secured in a timely manner.

Act as the primary point of contact for commercial matters.

Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and regulatory changes affecting clients.

Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.

Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and outreach.

Prepare and present tailored energy proposals and pricing structures.

Negotiate commercial terms and close new contracts.

Maintain an active pipeline and meet agreed revenue targets.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development (energy sector preferred).

Strong understanding of energy markets (electricity, gas, renewables) is desirable but not a necessity as full training will be given.

Demonstrable track record of achieving revenue targets.

Self-motivated and target driven.

CRM experience and pipeline management discipline.
