Our client is seeking a reliable, dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their lovely team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of their facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and an eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to enhance the appearance of the premises.
- Clean bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors, ensuring they are hygienic and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while carrying out cleaning duties.
- Assist with laundry services as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests and colleagues.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
