LOCATION: Torbay
ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Support Workers, Team Leaders
HOURS: Full-time, flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, nights, and sleep-ins
SALARY: £29,055

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a confident and experienced leader who can support, mentor, and develop a team of staff while ensuring people we support receive outstanding care.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience supervising and motivating staff in health and social care

  • Be passionate about making a difference in people’s lives

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Social Care Management (or equivalent)

  • Have clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Be IT literate and confident using different systems

  • Be committed to flexible working and travel between locations

  • Demonstrate knowledge and commitment to safeguarding adults

What to Expect

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop your team through person-centred approaches

  • Ensure support plans are current, implemented, and regularly reviewed

  • Facilitate team meetings and contribute to staff development and supervision

  • Manage staffing resources, including rotas and budgets

  • Promote community engagement and employment opportunities for the people we support

  • Uphold legal, health, and safety responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with families, advocates, local authorities, and care managers
