Summary

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Oxford.Location: Oxford Station, Oxford - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in maximising project profitability and quality of service., you'll play a vital role in delivering quality projects whilst managing commercial aspects on allocated schemes. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive team environment, where your contribution will directly impact project success.

Your day-to-day will include:

-Preparing monthly payment applications to clients and managing the certification process

-Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts

-Working collaboratively with project teams to ensure commercial aspects are understood and recorded

-Managing change control, early warnings, and compensation events in a timely manner

-Monitoring project performance using cost reconciliation and earned value metrics

What are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

-You have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in a similar industry

-You can work independently, managing subcontractor accounts and preparing valuations

-You understand contract conditions, particularly around obligations, variations, and payment terms
