Looking for a Career with More Meaning?

Do you have a natural ability to connect with people? Are you the person friends turn to in a crisis because you're patient and resilient?

At our specialist secondary school in St Ives, we don't just teach-we transform. We support students aged 11-16 who find mainstream school a challenge due to Autism, anxiety, or emotional needs. We are looking for Teaching Assistants who see the person behind the diagnosis and want to help them unlock their potential.

The Opportunity

This isn't just "classroom help." You will be part of a therapeutic team, learning how to:

  • Mentor students with Autism and complex emotional needs.

  • Adapt communication styles to reach learners who think differently.

  • Manage challenging situations with calm, professional empathy.

  • Collaborate with experts in a purpose-built, innovative environment.

What You Bring to the Table

You don't need 20 years in a school to excel here. We value life experience and the right attitude:

  • Resilience: You don't give up when things get tough.

  • Empathy: You can see the world through a student's eyes.

  • Basics: You must have Level 2 (GCSE equivalent) Maths and English.

  • Experience: Some experience with young people or SEND is required, but your passion and "coachable" attitude are just as important.

Why Choose Us? (Beyond the Salary)

We know that changing careers or starting a new one is a big step. We provide the safety net you need:

  • Professional Growth: We don't just offer a job; we offer a career path. From day one, you'll have access to funded training and development programs.

  • Health & Wellness: 24/7 private GP access for your entire household, dental/optical cash plans, and 24/7 counselling support.

  • Lifestyle Benefits: Huge discounts on your weekly shop, cinema tickets, and gym memberships via Perkbox, plus a Cycle to Work and Car Scheme.

  • Refer a Friend: Once you're in, help us find more great people and earn £1,000 per referral!
