Summary

Package Description:

We are looking for a friendly, dynamic, and professional individual to join our busy Estates Management team at Stowe School. This role is pivotal in assisting the Group Director of Estates and the Estates Building Maintenance team to ensure that the upkeep and statutory compliance of all buildings and infrastructure in and around the school and any other properties that the school may have at their disposal, are fully maintained, and to drive team development.


You will work closely with internal stakeholders across all four Schools within The Stowe Group as well as external third parties, working on multiple projects ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget. You will have a good knowledge of Health and Safety and Statutory Compliance, building management and defect diagnosis, and team management.


This role requires someone who has good personal approach and a proactive response to meet the Schools needs. A flexible approach to work is needed as is the ability to travel between sites. You will need to work well as part of a multi skilled team and enjoy a busy and varied role.

Stowe School

Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate and is located in Stowe’s world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. Stowe School is an independent co-educational boarding School with approximately 900 pupils. There are around 500 full and part-time staff with 60 staff and their families living on site. The Stowe Group of schools (Stowe, Ashfold, Swanbourne House and Winchester House) are situated on four separate sites in Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire and educate children from 3-18 years.
