Full-time, Fixed-term appointment to 31<sup>st</sup> December 2026 (possibility of extension subject to funding) Part-time requests will be considered The Liverpool Insect Testing Establishment (LITE) is a specialist facility established by the Vector Biology Department to provide high-quality testing services for commercial and research partners. LITE supports the development and evaluation of new vector control tools by conducting controlled laboratory studies that assess the effectiveness of insecticides, repellents and other vector control products against a wide range of mosquito populations.We are seeking an experienced Project Administrator to support the effective administration and quality management of the LITE facility. The post holder will adhere to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards and will be responsible for maintaining all controlled documentation within LITE, ensuring that relevant procedures and records are up to date, accurately managed and stored in accordance with regulatory requirements.The role will also assist in organising and coordinating internal audits to support continued GLP compliance. Working closely with the LITE technical and quality teams, the post holder will help ensure that documentation systems and administrative processes operate efficiently and meet required standards.This role provides an opportunity to contribute to a specialist facility supporting the development of innovative vector control products aimed at reducing mosquito-borne disease globally. Key Accountabilities will includeResponsible for issuing and management of all controlled documents using our document management system (-iPassport), maintaining distribution groups, report generation and delivery of training when required.To initiate document reviews (SOPs, risk assessments) and follow up to ensure completion in timely manner.To design and maintain a filing system for all files and folders in office cabinets, document store and shared drive.Maintain document management spreadsheet.Adhering to LITE's document lifecycle procedures -archiving inactive records in accordance with the records retention schedule and safeguard/retrieving of data.To update Master Schedule as per instructions from the Test Facility Manager.Write and review SOPs as gap analysis dictates.Assist with file migrations and audits, and perform administrative tasks as needed to support LITE. Prepare status reports for internal and audit purposes.To maintain the document store and archive store in an organized manner with proper labelling, inventory lists and correct location of files as per master list of archiving and to keep the archiving master spreadsheet updated.Ensuring documents are checked for accuracy, formatting and completion prior to issuing. Managing and organising the control of documents necessary to comply with GLP including change control, SOP's, specifications, study protocols, master document schedule and any quality system documents.Prepare and present reports on document KPIs in monthly team meetings, making recommendations for action to LITE management. Quality Assurance SupportProvide support to Quality Assurance as required, including arranging audits and inspections, following up on actionsTo provide oversight of implementation of LITE quality system to staff and auditors as required, including updating training records.Ensure that all study plans contain information required for compliance with the principles of GLP.Working in a safe mannerAdhere to local and legal requirements. Undertake personal health and safety responsibilities in accordance with H&S legislation and LSTM’s Health & Safety Policy and procedures.
