Summary

Responsibilities Day-to-day management of the DHSC contract for services Support NHS Employers senior leadership team to be efficient and effective. Manage and continuously improve systems and processes for contract management and commissioning and agreeing work programmes and deliverables, including associated metrics, contract management, contract variations, reviewing performance/performance reporting etc. Develop and maintain trusted working relationships with the DHSC contract manager and team, ensuring that any contractual issues are addressed and resolved at an early stage. Analyse data associated with DHSC contract reviews for DHSC performance reporting.Corporate Contracts and Business Growth Support the senior leadership team with other corporate contracts, including leading the tendering process where required, pricing, contract management, and governance support. Assist teams with advice and support regarding production of business cases to support growth.Good governance/well-led organisation Provide proactive business administration and project management support to the chief executive and senior leadership team. Work closely with the governance team to contribute to and continuously improve business management processes. Work with managers to ensure accurate and high-quality reports are produced to support corporate reporting requirements. Monitor corporate budget expenditure and provide robust financial reporting. Provide advice and guidance on GDPR in association with the organisations data protection officer.Risk management Support robust issues/risk management programme for all work across NHS Employers providing updates and reports and highlighting risks to delivery. Work with managers across the organisation to ensure compliance with corporate business policies, including highlighting and supporting staff in relation to their responsibilities for procurement and operational risk management.People and budgetary management Support the Chief Executive by managing the business unit budgets, including budget planning and budget forecasting. Line manage team members (where appropriate), including recruitment, performance management and development in accordance with organisational policies.
