Summary
Resettlement Worker - Camden (Temporary, 3 Months)
Morgan Hunt is seeking an experienced Resettlement Worker to join a 16-bed short-stay service in Camden, supporting individuals facing multiple disadvantages including substance misuse, mental and physical health challenges, and involvement with the criminal justice system.
Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon-Fri, 9-5 or 10-6)
Pay: £15.95 + £1.93 holiday pay = £17.88 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 16 clients, delivering person-centred support plans
- Conduct risk and needs assessments and develop resettlement strategies
- Support clients into stable housing and independent living
- Work with partner teams and housing providers to secure move-on options
- Assist clients with life skills, employment, education, and training
- Monitor rent accounts and minimise arrears
- Safeguard clients and manage risk effectively
Requirements:
- Experience working with complex needs, substance misuse, and mental health
- Knowledge of the recovery model and housing pathways
- Understanding of the private rented sector
- Strong assessment, planning, and client engagement skills
- Ability to support clients with budgeting and tenancy sustainment
