Providing children with fun and interesting activities that you wouldn’t do at home (the messier the better). Someone who can offer comfort and reassurance to children, to feel safe and secure and to meet the children’s needs offering consistency and patience.
The right candidate would be someone willing to work hours anywhere between 7.15am and 6pm, shifts are kept to a maximum of 8.5 hours or less in a day whenever possible as we want our team to be fresh and engaged with the children they are working with.
We are looking for someone to make a positive impact, to help children thrive and progress, to build on what they already know and to help them become confident and independent learners.
If you have a passion for working with children with special educational needs, we can also offer you a wealth of experience and knowledge while working with us in our inclusive setting.
Qualities we are looking for: -
· Patience
· A caring nature
· Good listening skills

If you are willing to learn, we are willing to support and mentor offering a wealth of experience within our outstanding setting.
The successful candidate must be able to provide two references (One from previous employment and one personal, or two personals, in cases with no work history)
We try our best to be a nursery that cares for the wellbeing of our staff, we have a staff breakroom with free tea and coffee, we organise small treats for seasonal events (Xmas, Easter etc), we have an open-door policy between the staff and management and staff are given 29 days holidays days per year (bank holidays included). We aim to be a progressive nursery that offers a good work/life balance and are always looking at ways we can improve this.
Salary: To meet NLW/NMW for unqualified and will exceed NLW/NMW for qualified persons.
The candidate must be able to undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to employment and or already on the update service. If you would like further information, please call 01484 689305. The closing date for this post is 3rd April 2026.
