SEND Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting April 2026

Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Provide full-time support for pupils with ASD needs.
- Work 1:1 and in small groups to reinforce learning activities.
- Support communication, emotional regulation and sensory needs.
- Assist with individual learning plans and personalised strategies.
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain consistent routines.
- Support pupils during transitions, daily tasks and structured activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and SEND teams to deliver effective support.
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare.
Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Strong SEND experience is essential.
