Summary
Year 5 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting ASAP with no planning required

Duties as Year 5 Teacher:
- Teach a Year 5 class full time using provided planning
- Deliver engaging lessons and ensure learning objectives are met
- Adapt delivery to meet a range of learning needs, including SEND
- Maintain consistent routines and promote positive behaviour
- Support pupils’ progress in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects
- Provide verbal feedback to guide pupil development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistent KS2 provision
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong KS2 experience
- Confident teaching Year 5 and delivering lessons using provided planning
- Effective behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- Able to motivate and support pupils of differing abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and committed to supporting pupil progress
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
