Job description

Job purpose
This role is to support N both at home and in the community to access facilities and services and to support him to seek new hobbies and experiences. You will be supporting N both with and without his family present.
We have 2 pet cats and 2 other high need children in the household.
The successful candidate will be responsible to N’s Mother as your employer.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
•To help to support N and us as a family.
•To assist N with personal care.
•To help N to get the most out of experiences.

Essential Criteria
• Full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
Summary terms and conditions
• Hours, days and times of work: 4 hours per week- flexible to be agreed with the employer. Working times are from 4pm on weekdays and are to be agreed on the weekends.
• Pay rate: £12.70 per hour
• Annual leave: The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work normally done during 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement).
• Expenses: You will be reimbursed for prior agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
• Sick pay: I do not operate a private sick pay scheme but provided you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
• Pension: I do not operate a private pension scheme but I will fulfil my statutory obligations via the NEST pension scheme.

• Background check: A satisfactory Enhanced with Barred List(s) Disclosure and Barring Service check is required for this position.
