Summary
SENCO - Primary School
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
Start: ASAP - Until Summer Term
Contract: 4-5 days per week, term time only
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join a supportive primary school in Lewisham on a short-term basis until the end of the summer term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional to lead and manage SEND provision, ensuring all pupils receive the support they need to succeed.
The Role
As SENCO, you will:

Lead and manage the school's SEND provision

Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties

Oversee and review EHCPs, IEPs and provision plans

Work closely with teachers, support staff and external agencies

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or working towards it

Proven experience working as a SENCO within a primary school

Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
