Summary
TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic Alternative Provision provision based in Nottingham.
The Provision is looking to take on a permanent Maths Tutor on a full-time basis. The successful Maths Tutor will be working directly with students across Key Stage 3/KS3 to Key Stage 4/KS4. The successful Maths Tutor will plan, deliver and assess an engaging maths curriculum for secondary school aged Students who may have faced barriers in mainstream education and help them develop the skills for learning and employment.
The successful Maths Tutor will have:
• Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD
• To deliver the Pearsons BTEC Functional Skills Maths Qualifications (Level 1 and 2)
• Prepare and deliver lessons to classes of different ages and abilities.
• Prepare students for qualifications and external examinations.
