Classic Car Mechanic

Our client a specialist automotive company with a deep passion for classic vehicles from the 1960s to the 1990s, they are dedicated to preserving, restoring, and maintaining some of the finest examples from this golden era. Their showroom offers exceptional vehicles for sale, while our workshop provides everything from full restorations to servicing and inspections. Known for our commitment to the highest standards, we have built a loyal customer base of enthusiasts who trust us for expert care, whether they’re looking to buy, sell, or restore their vehicle.
Mechanical & Technical Skills
Engine Rebuilding & Overhauling – Experience working with carburettors, mechanical fuel injection, and early electronic fuel injection systems.
Transmission & Drivetrain Repairs – Knowledge of manual gearboxes, automatic transmissions, differentials, and axles.
Suspension & Steering Systems – Ability to work with classic steering systems, including recirculating ball steering and early power steering setups.
Brake Systems – Understanding of drum brakes, early disc brakes, and vacuum-assisted braking systems.
Electrical & Wiring – Ability to diagnose and repair classic wiring looms, generators, alternators, relays, and early ECU systems.
Cooling & Heating Systems – Repair and maintenance of radiators, water pumps, thermostats, and heating systems common in classic cars.
