We’re looking for a Hospitality Venue Manager to lead the café’s daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient team management, and smooth-running events. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards in food service, staff training, health and safety, and financial performance while also collaborating with our community programmes team to support our wider social mission.This post is working 40 hours per week. Full-time, including occasional evenings for eventsWhat You’ll Do
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the café, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding customer experience.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
  • Manage stock control, supplier relationships, and cost efficiencies.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, food hygiene, and Kashrut compliance.
  • Coordinate community events and private venue hire, ensuring seamless service.
  • Work closely with our community programme team to support mental health initiatives within the café space.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience in hospitality or venue management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in operational planning, cost control, and supplier negotiations.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a social enterprise setting.
  • An understanding of food hygiene, safety regulations, and Kashrut compliance (or willingness to learn).
  • A collaborative mindset, with experience working alongside community and volunteering teams.
