Summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is hiring Assembly Operatives for a temporary-to-permanent role in Mansfield. Full training provided, with long-term career prospects in a clean, modern, air-conditioned environment. You must demonstrate strong dexterity, either through work experience or personal skills.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assemble small, intricate components with precision and care.

  
  

• Work with connectors, cable assemblies, and shielding components to strict quality standards.

  
  

• Use specialist crimping, insertion, and removal tools for military-specification electrical connectors.

  
  

• Start in a training school before moving to your department.

  
  

  What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven dexterity - assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.

    
    

  • If no direct experience, show skills through hobbies like model-making, sewing, or jewellery-making.

    
    

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards.

    
    

  • Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn.
