Job Title: Sales Assistant
Location: Huyton, Liverpool
Hours: 40 hours per week (full-time, includes weekend work)
About the Role:
At Mazzanna Tiles, we are a busy tile showroom looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment, supporting customers in-store while also assisting with operational tasks behind the scenes. Duties will include some warehouse work, preparing customer orders, organising deliveries, and using a stock management system (full training will be provided).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and helpful service to customers
- Assist customers with product enquiries and purchases
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked showroom
- Prepare and pick orders for customers and deliveries
- Assist with deliveries, stock replenishment, and light warehouse duties
- Use the stock management system to support stock control (training provided)
- Carrying out heavy lifting as part of daily duties
Working Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- Weekend work required (Saturday and Sunday)
- Days off will be during the week and confirmed upon hiring
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic IT confidence (for stock system use) is beneficial
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
