Brass Monkey is a Speciality Coffee Shop and Art Gallery based in Radlett. It has built a strong reputation with our community serving both excellent coffee and a simple perfectly formed menu.

We are friendly, dynamic and very customer focussed.

We are looking for an experienced and talented full-time Kitchen Hand / Back of house and or Cook to assist in the kitchen.

We also offer lunch and breakfast foods that are locally sourced, fresh and delicious - its a simple menu, done well!

We’re looking for individuals with experience in the hospitality industry who are looking to expand on their skills, challenge themselves and come to work in a dynamic and growing, friendly company.

Experience:

Chef / BOH : 2 years (preferred)

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets restaurant standards
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a culinary role preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
