The role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Marketing team at ZyroFisher in the role of Marketing Coordinator. Working alongside the existing team and reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager you will have a varied role, including supporting the organisation of consumer and trade events, managing social media accounts, distributing product samples to media and sponsored athletes, writing and uploading content to our brand website, coordinating graphic design requests and producing monthly marketing reports.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Responsible for producing, managing and executing content across some of our brands social media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube on a daily/weekly basis.
2. Liasing with brand ambassadors to ensure content is shared and new content ideas are executed.
3. Supporting the organisation and execution of trade and consumer shows, from large exhibitions to grassroots field events, working closely with our Events Manager (occasional weekend work required)
4. Attendance at some events to capture content for use on social media accounts (occasional weekend work required)
5. Distributing and recording product samples for media and sponsored ambassadors/athletes.
6. Collating information and images, writing content as well as working with the Senior Graphic Designer to produce the monthly staff newsletter
7. Creating and uploading content to our website, working with our external agency as required and in-house designers.
8. Collating data and preparing monthly marketing reports including social media metrics
9. Working with our Retail Marketing Manager to ensure our showrooms are always up to date in line with seasonal plans and retailer events
10. Coordination of department purchase orders and invoicing.
11. Responsible for tracking and circulating press coverage.
12. Responsible for managing the marketing inbox to ensure all marketing requests are handled in a timely manner and delegated accordingly.
The requirements:
This is a fantastic opportunity which will suit an ambitious individual who is keen to learn and challenge best practice with new ways of thinking. You need to love social media and have a passion for content, be extremely organised; be deadline focussed and have a keen eye for detail.
Essential:
A good level of general education – GCSE (or equivalent) passes in Maths & English.
Previous marketing/events-based role experience and/or a desire to develop a career in marketing.
Experience of working with social media accounts and creating content.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision.
A can-do attitude.
The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to solve practical problems with minimal guidance / supervision.
Self-motivation, initiative, and a flexible attitude to working.
Desirable:
Degree level education.
Marketing qualifications or the equivalent.
Experience of liaising with third parties such as graphic designers, POS manufacturers and printers
Experience working with web platforms.
A passion for cycling and / or the outdoors.
Experience of working with sports/cycling brands
