The Skelmorlie based service is looking for a a compassionate and reliable Support Practitioner to assist an adult with Autism living in the Skelmorlie area. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, motivated and enjoys supporting individuals to live an active and fulfilling lifestyle.

You will provide person-centred support to promote independence, wellbeing, and community engagement. The individual enjoys staying active and participating in a variety of activities. Your role will include:

Support with daily living tasks and routines
Encouraging independence and confidence
Accompanying to activities such as walking, gym and swimming
Support access to the local community
Provide emotional support, maintaining a positive, respectful approach
About You:

Experience supporting individuals with Autism is desirable but not essential
Patient, understanding, and reliable
Positive attitude and ability to motivate others
Good communication skills
A drivers licence is preferred but not essential
The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members.
