Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and committed Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Torfaen area. This supportive environment prioritises the well-being of both staff and pupils. The role involves general classroom assistance alongside providing one-to-one support to pupils, ideally with experience in Additional Learning Needs (ALN). The school upholds high standards for all pupils and staff, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated and professional team.

Key Attributes of the Ideal Teaching Assistant
First Aid experience and qualifications are highly desirable.
• Welsh-speaking proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
• Level 3 NVQ or CACHE qualification or higher (preferred but not essential).
• Familiarity with ELSA or Thrive programmes (preferred but not essential).
• A caring, empathetic, and patient approach.
