Our client, a well-established independent specialist in classic, sports, and racing cars, is actively seeking a highly skilled Classic Car Restoration Technician to join their reputable team in Basingstoke.
This role offers a unique opportunity for experienced automotive professionals passionate about restoring and maintaining classic and race cars. The successful Classic Car Restoration Technician will be working within a dedicated workshop environment committed to excellence and craftsmanship.

Duties as a Classic Car Restoration Technician:
- Restoring classic cars to meet high standards of quality and detail
- Engine building and detailed overhauls of classical vehicles
- Carrying out repairs and general maintenance on vintage and racing cars
- Performing diagnostics to ascertain fault conditions accurately
- Driving vehicles for road tests post-restoration or repair
- Maintaining the workshop environment to a professional standard
- Ensuring proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Supporting the company's reputation for excellence through quality workmanship
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Experience as a Classic Car Restoration Technician, ideally with race or sports cars
- Motivated with a proactive attitude and attention to detail
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Vehicle Technicians are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of classic, vintage, or racing cars advantageous but not essential
- Commitment to maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional service
- Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively as a Classic Car Restoration Technician
