Summary

We are currently recruiting a highly skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of our reputable automotive client in Mallusk.

The Vehicle Technician plays a vital role within the workshop, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles. Our client is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their team and uphold their high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties:

- Servicing, adjusting, and repairing vehicles efficiently and to manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing faults and performing testing and inspections on various vehicle makes and models
- Repairing or replacing faulty components and accessories
- Road testing vehicles to verify repairs
- Completing all relevant paperwork diligently, including defect reports and recharge costs
- Identifying and reporting potential vehicle failures or defects
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

Requirements:

- NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
- Proven success working on light commercial vehicles or transit vans
- A comprehensive toolkit suitable for light commercial vehicle repair
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools for vehicle repairs
- A track record of success working as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within a busy workshop
