Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable accident repair centre in Colchester, Essex, for the position of Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality repairs within a fast-paced environment. The Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through precise repairs across multiple disciplines.

- Monday to Friday working hours, 8 am to 5 pm, with overtime available on Saturdays

Duties as a Bodyshop Technician:
- Perform high-quality repairs across panels, paint, and Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim (MET) disciplines, ensuring all work complies with manufacturer standards and internal quality protocols
- Utilize the latest diagnostic tools, equipment, and repair techniques for precise results
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain workflow and meet customer expectations
- Prioritise safety, accuracy, and professionalism throughout every stage of the repair process
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to health and safety policies
- Stay updated with industry developments and continuously improve technical skills
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop environment
- ATA accreditation or willingness to achieve it in relevant disciplines
- Strong technical expertise with meticulous attention to detail
- Proactive and forward-thinking approach, dedicated to quality and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
