Summary

Our client, a reputable and well-established vehicle repair centre in Colchester, Essex, is seeking a highly skilled MET Technician to join their busy workshop team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified MET Technician to work within a dynamic environment with a diverse range of demanding tasks. The successful MET Technician will have a strong background in MET / Auto Electrician work, demonstrating precision, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence.

Duties as an MET Technician:

- Service and repair of both commercial and domestic vehicles, specifically focusing on MET / Auto Electrician tasks
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues quickly and accurately
- Using modern diagnostic equipment and tools to carry out repairs to high standards
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
- Maintaining a clean, organised workshop environment compliant with health and safety standards
- Keeping abreast of current automotive technology and systems

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a MET Technician or auto electrician within a busy workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a meticulous approach
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive team player attitude
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Good knowledge of contemporary automotive systems and technology
