We are currently seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join a reputable, family-run car garage located in Dartford. Duties of this Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester role:
- Performing MOT tests on class 4 vehicles efficiently and accurately as an MOT Technician
- Assisting with routine vehicle servicing tasks such as brake, pad, and suspension replacements.
- Diagnosing vehicle issues and communicating findings to the workshop manager for repairs
- Ensuring all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all work conducted
- Supporting the team with general workshop duties as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an MOT Technician with valid Class 4 certification
- Competent in performing MOT fail repairs and basic service tasks
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to safety standards
- Good organisational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Valid UK driving licence
- Enthusiastic team player with a professional attitude
